Introduction of the International Patient Unit IPD

• Take the necessary measures and coordination when discharging International patients

 

International Patient-Physician (IPD Doctor)

• Sufficient proficiency in English or the predominant language of patients who come to the hospital

• Patient visit at the first hour of admission

• Co-ordination with the doctor and getting the initial instructions

• Co-ordination with the supervisor nurse and the nursing office for paraclinical actions and patient counseling as soon as possible.

• Daily patient visit

• Co-ordination with the responsible electronic system and hospital site to prepare the electronic record

• Collaborate with your doctor to prepare a summary of the patient's case and documents in English

• Follow-up of e emergency events that may take up to next 24 hours for the patient

• Provide patient information about how to complain

• Provide all health services to the International Patient as soon as possible and in accordance with the principles of medical ethics

• Provide a typed summary of the case in English to the patient, in which the diagnosis of the disease, the type of provided services, the description of the action and the recommendations are required after the discharge.

- Reception of international patients:

- If the patient goes directly to the hospital or accepts it through the hospital website, all the existing regulations, including the cost of the hospital, the package of services, and the amenities in the form of sheets attached to the hospital stamp, should be provided to them, and if the patient accepts the conditions, accepting them will be in the form of a contract between the hospital and the patient.

5-2. In the event that the patient is admitted to the hospital by the facilitator, the necessary coordination must be made with the hospital through the company (health care professional physician).

 These co-ordinations include the presentation of patient information and his initial report, which must be made available to the hospital. Patient admission is made in the form of a three-party contract between the hospital, the facilitator and the patient.

3.5 Hospital should receive health insurance in the event of admission by the patient, which includes compensation for the loss of the patient's illness or unexpected complications in relation to the patient`s illness, resulting in a high cost, and in the contract between the two Nursing is not guaranteed, and in case of absence of insurance, the patient will be insured while admission.

5-5. After signing the contract and accepting the International Patient in the IPD unit and informing the physician and the doctor of the IPD, the patient will be introduced by the IPD expert to the hospital.

3. All patients at the time of departure will have a summary of the typed English file, including the following: First and family name, medical doctor, passport number and international code, date of admission and discharge, cause of referral , Initial diagnosis, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures performed for the patient, current state of the patient, insertion of post-clearance care and care measures, which the patient should perform in his / her place of residence for illness, and, if necessary, time for re-examination.

8.4. The patient receives training and information on how to follow their status before being cleared in pre-prepared forms and translated into their own language.

8.5. In cases where the patient chooses to leave the hospital, despite the medical advice of the team, if there is any kind of risk to the patient, in order to prevent unexpected medical events, the doctor should consult with the forensic medicine specialist in this regard. Particularly the dangers of the action will be reported to the patient.

8-7. All patients receive a satisfaction form when they discharged. This satisfaction should contain accurate information about the patient`s access to the control of the provided services.

8.8. The hospital should provide the patient with the doctor and the hospital at the time of discharge in prescribed forms for the patient to provide information on ways of communicating (email, telephone, or attending).

8-10- All patients must be given a copy at the time of discharge from the hospital, that while considering the integration of the drug, including the previous and current medications of the patient, and according to the opinion of the clinical pharmacist, the lack of drug and dietary interactions in the patient's diet is considered. It is also stipulated that the responsibility of prescribing drugs at the time of discharge is the responsibility of the physician.

Article 9 - Patient follow-up program in the country of origin:

Hospitals should be directly or through reputable companies, with established medical centers in the patient's country of origin, and to follow up their patients (FOLLOW UP).

9.2. In the event of complications, even in the country of origin, the hospital must provide the patient in accordance with the contract, service, and satisfaction.

The specific requirements for a companion of the patient include:

• Packages and personal belongings (slippers, suits, glass, plates, spoon, and fork, etc.)
